The high calibre jury justified its decision with the words: “The whole exhibition stand is rather reserved and very precisely designed, featuring an incredibly beautiful transparency. We are very impressed by this concept.” Volkmar Halbe, chairman of the management board at Parador, and Guido Mamczur, managing director of D’art Design Group, collected the honour as part of the award ceremony at the BMW World in Munich.

Birgit Kunth, marketing manager at Parador, explains the value of the award for Parador: "The monolithic exhibition stand shows the brand value of Parador in three dimensional form. We want to fascinate people with simultaneously sophisticated, innovative and valuable products. The exhibition stand in the form of an open platform presented an outstanding opportunity to generate new trade contacts and hence, from a sales point of view, was also a complete success.”

The iF design awards reflect the current tendencies in design as well as the profitability of well designed products. For the iF communication design award 2013, a total of 1,086 creative works were submitted. Only 20 works out of 346 prize winners of the iF communication design award were honoured with a gold award.
